NYBA Families:

The Newtown Youth Basketball Association Board of Directors meets at least monthly throughout the year keeping the program running. Meetings generally are held to discuss on-going operational needs and issues and address any urgent business.

The next NYBA Board Meeting will be held on: Monday May 21, 2012 at 7:00pm. Meetings are held at Edmond Town Hall in the Lower Level Meeting Room.

Those with children currently registered in the program and current year coaches are invited to attend the meeting.

The NYBA annual elections for positions on the Executive Board will be held:
Monday June 11, 2012 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be at 7:00pm in the Lower Level Meeting Room at Edmond Town Hall.

The Executive Board consists of 5 elected positions, President, VP of Travel, VP of In House, VP of Admin and Treasurer. The remaining Board positions will be appointed once the new Executive Board has been placed. Current Board Members and Association Members in Good Standing are eligible to vote.

We welcome and encourage everyone to become more involved bringing more ideas and energy to the program. This past year we had 1200 kids participating on over 100 teams. The amazing volunteers at each level are what make the program so successful.

Those interested in becoming a Board Member are encouraged to contact any NYBA Board member to ask questions and gather information. Additionally you may access descriptions of each position on our website under the DOCUMENTS tab on the left side menu and the clicking in the  NYBA Board of Directors and finding the NYBA Board Position Descriptions.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the NYBA Board of Directors please contact the NYBA Secretary via email ( ) to officially notify the Board.

The election process requires that person(s) be nominated by a current Board Member with the nomination being seconded at which time a vote will take place.
