2010–2011 REGISTRATION

Registration opens Aug 31 and ends October 15th for all leagues except Senior League.
There is a $25 late fee for registering after October 15th.
Those wishing to participate in travel must register by September 26, 2010.
Family Plan Pricing is available. Details are:
Registration Fee for 3rd youngest child & each additional younger sibling is $40.00 off.
Example: A family has 1 Junior, 2 Midgets and 1 Biddy. Cost would be: $ 350. (115 115 75 45).

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED AND ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. ONCE TEAMS HAVE BEEN SET, THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES MADE TO THE ROSTERS.

BIDDY BASKETBALL Grades K-1 FEE: $85.00 Slots are filled on a first come-first served basis.
Sessions are on Saturday’s starting Dec 4, 2010. Location: Sandy Hook School and will run for 10 sessions.
MIDGET DIVISION Grades 2 & 3 FEE: $115. There are separate leagues for girls and boys.
Please sign up for the clinics when you register on-line. ALL Midget Division clinics are held at the Reed School.
GIRLS Clinic Dates: Saturdays, November 6, November 13 and November 20. Players attend all three Saturdays.
BOYS Clinic Dates: Sundays, November 7, November 14 and November 21. Players attend all three Sundays.
BOYS ATTEND CLINIC ACCORDING TO THE FIRST LETTER OF THEIR LAST NAME. Clinic times TBA, but will be in the afternoon.
Midget Division games are on Saturdays and will start on December 4,2010. Teams are assigned in late November.
Practice will be the same time and place each week.
BANTAM DIVISION Grade 4 FEE: $115. There are separate leagues for girls and boys.
In-House League games: Saturdays starting on December 4, 2010. Teams will play 10 games. Players must attend an evaluation – dates and times available on the web site during registration. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to evaluation start time.
INTERMEDIATE DIVISION Grades 5 and Grades 6 FEE: $115.

JUNIOR DIVISION Grades 7 & 8 play together. FEE: $115.

SENIOR DIVISION Grades 9 – 12 FEE: $115.
Registration cutoff is December 12 assuming the league is not filled. Games start early January and will be played on weeknights.
The planned season schedule is 10 games plus playoffs. Location: NYA
Registration is first-come, first-served. Team captains will contact players prior to the first game.
NYBA Refund Policy for ALL Leagues - updated: Full refunds are available to any requests that are submitted prior to the date of the first scheduled game. There is a $20 administrative charge back to any requests. Partial refunds are available to any requests received on or after the date of the first scheduled game to December 31, 2010. The refund amount is 50% of the amount paid with no administrative fee accessed. See full refund policy details during registration.
TRAVEL LEAGUES Registration Fee: $115 . plus an additional $200 - $300 if a player makes a travel team.
A parent’s meeting, for those interested in having their child try out for a travel team, will be held on Wednesday, September 22, from 8-9:30 p.m. at the Middle School Cafeteria. Travel costs will be covered at this meeting.
GAMES: Most Saturdays & Sundays Practices will start in October.
DIVISIONS: Girls: 5th thru 8th Grade. Boys: 5th thru 8th Grade. In some cases in addition to an A team, there may also be a B team. If trying out for a travel team, use the appropriate in-house program code when registering and check Y under ‘Trying out for Travel’. ALL PLAYERS MUST ATTEND BOTH TRYOUTS. Travel candidates must register prior to tryouts.
